Chairman Railway Board has launched E-pass module of Human Resource Management System (HRMS) developed by CRIS through video conferencing which was also attended by FC/Railways, all Board Members, CMD/IRCTC, MD/CRIS, all GMs, PCPOS, PCCMS, PFAs and DRMs.

This Human Resource Management System (HRMS) will allow Railway employees to view their details related to their Increments, Promotions, Awards, Transfers, Postings, Leave, Training, and composition of Family as per records and Nominations for retirement benefits. This information is not readily available to employee at present. It brings transparency to administration.

DG/HR briefed about the various aspects of the e-Pass module and its phased implementation strategy.

Process for issuance of pass have been largely manual in IR. Also there was no facility for booking of ticket online on Pass for Railway employee.

The E-Pass module has been developed by CRIS under HRMS project and will be rolled out over Indian Railways in phased manner. With this facility Railway employee is neither supposed to come to office for applying for Pass nor has to wait for pass being issued. Employee will be able to apply for pass online from anywhere and get the E-Pass generated  online . Complete process of application and generation of Pass is mobile friendly. .

Student Reservation Rules & Concession in Indian Railway

How do i apply for student concession.

• The Student Concession tickets are permitted only in Sleeper Class (SL) and 2nd Seating (2S) I tickets.
• Only I-tickets can be exchanged with student concession by presenting the I-ticket and the valid student concession order to the nearest Railway Reservation Office By going to the reservation office along with his journey cum reservation ticket and a request for exchanging the same with the student concession.
• He will surrender his original fully paid ticket and a student concession ticket with the revised fare (with same seat/berth number status) shall be issued to him.
• The difference of fare (paid and payable) less the clerk age charge of Rs. 20/- shall be refunded and shall be credited to his account electronically on the next day by IRCTC on receipt of refund file from the Railways.

Is student concession applicable for both E/I tickets?

• The Student Concession tickets are permitted only in Sleeper Class (SL) and 2nd Seating (2S). Presently it is not permitted on E-Tickets.

How will I be refunded the difference of fare paid extra with respect to student concession?

Student concession :-.

• General Category - 50% in 2nd and SL class & 50% in MST and QST
• SC/ST Category - 75% in 2nd and SL class & 75% in MST and QST
• Students of Govt. schools in rural areas - for study tour - once a year - 75% in 2nd class
• Entrance exam - Girls of Govt. schools in rural areas for national level for medical, engineering, etc. entrance exam - 75% in 2nd class
• Concession to students appearing in main written examination conducted by UPSC & Central Staff Selection Commissions - 50% in 2nd class
• Foreign students studying in India - traveling to attend camps/seminars organised by Govt. of India and also visit to places of historical & other importance during vacations - 50% in 2nd and SL class
• Research scholars upto the age of 35 years - for journeys in connection with research work - 50% in 2nd and SL class
• Students and non-students participating in Work Camps - 25% in 2nd and SL class
• Cadets and Marine Engineers apprentices undergoing Navigational/ Engineering training for Mercantile Marine - for travel between home and training ship - 50% in 2nd and SL class

Season Tickets To Students :

• Season tickets to students are issued for First & Second class upto the maximum distance of 150 Kms.
• The student monthly season tickets will be charged at half of the normal adult season ticket fare and student Quarterly Season tickets will be charged at 2.7 times of the Student MST fare.
• These MSTs/QSTs will be issued without any minimum charge to the students of recognized institutions under.
• Condition that the age of students, to whom the tickets are issued, should not exceed 25 years in the case of student in general, 27 years in the case of students belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Tribes and 35 years in the case of Research Scholars.
• MSTs: On payment of 50% below the normal Student MST fares, and
• QSTs: On payment of 2.7 times of the concessional fares of MSTs vide. (i)above

Free MST to Students :

The facility of Free Monthly Season Tickets (MSTs) is available to Boy Students studying in classes upto 10th Standard and Girl students studying in classes upto 12th standard for commuting daily between the stations serving the place of residence and school. They carry the caption MILLENIUM GIFT FROM RAILWAYS. These free MSTs are issued subject to the following conditions: -

• Only MSTs are issued and QSTs are not issued.
• As in the case of concessional student MSTs, these are also issued upto maximum of 150 Kms.
• These are issued for second class only and are not valid for travel in any Mail/Express train, including superfast train.
• No other surcharge is levied on these MSTs (Even the CIDCO surcharge applicable on Central/Western Railway for travel on specific section in Mumbai area is not leviable)
• The free MSTs are issued subject to all other conditions applicable for issue of concessional MSTs to students.
• The concessional student MSTs/QSTs continue to be issued on demand as per rules.

Online application for new/reissue of railway identity card for persons with disability (divyangjan)

Proceed to apply online, instruction and procedure to apply online application (ऑनलाइन आवेदन भरने के लिए निर्देश और प्रक्रिया),  instruction to apply online:.

1. Applicant should keep ready the following documents in the jpg/pdf format with maximum 5 MB size before proceeding to fill up the form. Details mentioned on documents should be clear and legible. Doctor’s name, registration number and nature of disability mentioned on concession certificate should be clearly mentioned and readable

• Concession Certificate
• Disability/Handicapped Certificate
• Age Certificate (PAN Card, School Certificate or as directed in Govt Notification Mentioned Parameter i.e. DD-MM-YYYY)
• Aadhaar Card
• Address Proof (Voter ID Card or Documents as Directed in Govt. Notification for this Purpuse)
• Passport Size Photo

2. Applicant should have a valid mobile number

3. Editing of any detail not permitted, so before submitting/going to next step please verify all the entered information for correctness.

5. Applicant has to complete whole process within 72 hours from the first step of registration. Online registration will be rejected if you fail to complete the         registration form within 72 Hours. Beyond 72 Hours online application will have to be applied again.

• Applicant needs to click on “APPLY ONLINE” available on the           home page for online registration.
• आवेदक को ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण के लिए होम पेज पर उपलब्ध "APPLY ONLINE" पर क्लिक करना होगा

• "Instruction and Procedure to apply online application" will be opened after clicking “APPLY ONLINE”.          
• There are two ways to open the form “Registration step 1”
• "ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने के लिए निर्देश और प्रक्रिया"          "आवेदन ऑनलाइन" पर क्लिक करने के बाद खोला जाएगा।
• "पंजीकरण चरण 1" को खोलने के दो तरीके हैं

• Fill all details after open "Registration step 1" and click “SUBMIT"          button.           Asterisk (*) fields are mandatory.
• On successful submission of “Registration step 1” details, a          system generated OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to          Mobile number provided in the registration form.
• "पंजीकरण चरण 1" खोलने के बाद सभी विवरण भरें और "SUBMIT" बटन         पर क्लिक करें।         तारांकन चिह्न  (*) फ़ील्ड अनिवार्य हैं।
• "पंजीकरण चरण 1" का विवरण प्रस्तुत करने पर ओटीपी (वन टाइम पासवर्ड)          जेनरेट होगा जिसे पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर पर भेजा जायेगा।

• As soon as the OTP generated it should be entered in the          appropriate box within 15minutes.

NOTE: -  Your login id will be activated after successful submission of                OTP.

• After successful submission of OTP, a message regarding                successful first stage registration will appear.
• जैसे ही ओटीपी जेनरेट होता है, उसे उपयुक्त बॉक्स में १५ मिनट्स के भीतर दर्ज          किया जाना चाहिए.

 नोट: - ओटीपी को सफलतापूर्वक जमा करने के बाद आपकी लॉगिन आईडी             सक्रिय हो जाएगी।

• ओटीपी को सफलतापूर्वक जमा करने के बाद, पहले चरण के सफल पंजीकरण           के बारे में एक संदेश दिखाई देगा।

• After login, ‘Registration step 2 ’ will open. Fill all the details and           click on button “Next”

• After click on button ‘Next’ , last step of registration will appear. Here upload all following documents in jpg/pdf format up to the size limit of 5 MB.
• Age Certificate (PAN Card, School Certificate or as directed         in Govt Notification Mentioned Parameter i.e. DD-MM-YYYY)
• Address Proof (Voter ID Card or Documents or Directed in Govt.           Notification for this Purpose)
• After uploading all documents click on button "Submit" .There after the message of completion is generated.

"Next" बटन पर क्लिक करने के बाद, पंजीकरण का अंतिम चरण दिखाई देगा। यहां 5 एमबी के आकार की सीमा तक सभी निम्नलिखित दस्तावेजों को jpg/pdf साइज में अपलोड करें।

Getting Railways Photo Identity Card for Persons with Disability

Earlier it used to be quite discriminatory that all passengers were able to book their railway tickets online sitting in the comfort of their couch while persons with disabilities needed to go to ticket window physically for getting a ticket. But now things have changed and you can see an option for booking a train ticket under handicapped quota online when you login to the IRCTC website.

At first glance, it looks quite relaxing that we don’t have to put extra effort for booking a train ticket for the reason that we are persons with disabilities. But as soon as you click on the check-box on that reads “I’ll book in special concession (Physically handicapped and Journalist Passengers)” , a dialogue box will appear.

The dialogue box tells that if you book a concessional ticket you need to carry a photo identity card issued by the Railways. The escort or attendant too needs to carry a photo identity card mentioned at the time of booking. This dialogue box can create a lot of confusion and it is quite possible you’ll go back and book a general ticket despite having disability . If it was simply a photo identity card there would not be any confusion because we all carry our Aadhar Card with us.

This article is intended to give you the valuable information about the photo identity card issued by the Railways including the procedure to obtain it and where to find the required form.

Who is Eligible to Get Railways Photo Identity Card?

For the purpose of granting photo identity card, the Railways has divided persons with disabilities into four categories.

• Orthopedically handicapped person who cannot travel without an escort or assistance.
• Mentally retarded persons who need an escort.
• Completely blind persons traveling alone or with an escort.
• Totally deaf and mute person (with both afflictions together).

In addition to these four broad categories, the concession is also allowed to persons with certain ailments .

• Cancer patients
• Heart patient
• Non-infectious leprosy patients
• Thalassemia major patients
• T.B. patients
• Kidney patients
• Haemophilia patients
• Aplastic anemia patients
• Sickle-cell anemia patients

The given forms should be certified by a government doctor with sign and seal. You need to paste a recent color photograph of yourself that would be attested by the doctor. Getting the certification from a government doctor though is not enough to be eligible to book concessional tickets under handicapped quota; this is just the first step.

Procedure for Getting Concessional Railway Ticket for Handicapped Persons

1. approach the nearest d.r.m office.

You need to visit your nearest Divisional Railway Manager’s Office with all the relevant documents in original as well as self-attested photocopies. Relevant documents are:

• Concession Certificate or Unique Disability ID (UDID) Card
• Photo Identity Proof (e.g. Aadhaar Card)
• Date of Birth Proof
• Address Proof
• Two passport size color photo
• Attested photocopies of these documents.

NOTE: Concession Certificate is the certificate issued by the railways by verifying the disability certificate . The whole problem has been that the Concession Certificate can not used for booking ticket online. That is why you need Railway Photo ID Card.

When you submit your application, the envelope containing the documents and the application should have legibly written heading “Application for issue of Railway Identity Card for Physically Challenged Persons for Ticketing” .

The application submitted for the purpose should be addressed to the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM) of the division.

2. Verification of the submitted documents by Commercial Inspector

Once you submit your documents along with the application the concerned officer would get them verified from a commercial inspector. The procedure will move forward only after the inspector verifies that the issuing hospital, doctor and the details mentioned are all correct. Only the concession certificate issued by a government office of the concerned zone will be entertained.

3. Hand over the Photo Identity Card to the Concerned Person

After the verification process is complete you’ll get a call from the D.R.M Office about the date and time for collecting your photo identity card. The disabled person can send a representative on her behalf to collect the identity card. In such a case, the representative must have an authority letter (a handwritten permission by the PwD and duly attested signature of the representative) in order to get the Photo Identity Card from the D.R.M Office.

4. De-validation of the Concession Certificate

While issuing the photo identity card with unique 11 digits identification number, the D.R.M office will endorse the information on the original concession certificate by pasting a stamp with all relevant details. Once the details are endorsed, your concession certificate becomes useless. Now you have to use only the photo identity card for all further transactions with the Railways.

Concession Allowed By Indian Railways for Persons with Disabilities

Now that you know the answer to your queries about getting a railway photo identity card for availing tickets on concessional rates, let us give you an overview of the concessions that you may get based on your certified disability.

Practically using Your Railway Photo Identity Card

For booking concessional tickets online you’ll need to use your unique 11 digits ID number and you’ll have to carry the original photo identity card to be checked on-board and off-board the train. If you are booking the ticket at the ticket window then you may have to submit a photocopy of the identity card at the counter. In this case, too you’ll have to carry the original photo identity while traveling through railways.

Booking ticket for the escort/attendant

When a person with disability is to travel with an attendant then the attendant’s identity is also important. While booking tickets online you’ll get a list of 10 valid IDs for the attendant from which you have to choose the one which the attendant will carry while traveling with you.

This was all a PwD needs to know for getting and using the photo identity card issued by railways.

You may have some doubts such as – what will happen if you lost your identity card? What will you do after the expiration i.e. 5 years after the issuance of the photo identity card? In both the cases answer is same… you will have to get a new photo identity card. In case you lost your photo identity card , you’ll first need to file an F.I.R. and take a copy of the same. After this you’ll have to follow the same steps (as explained above) but this time your relevant documents will have a new partner – the photocopy of the F.I.R.

In case of expiration of the card you are expected to start your process of getting a new photo identity card three months prior to the expiration of the old card.

My son is having the below disability. Vision Impairment – 75% Hearing Impairment – 70% Physical Impairment – 25%

The government percentage mentions 87% disability.

Is my son eligible to get a Railway Concession card

how to get this card

1. First you have to get the UHID Card (Handicapped Card) from designated Government Hospital (Rajwadi Hospital, in Mumbai). This takes almost 6 months. (Maybe due to Covid problems).

2. Then you have to get the Railway Concession form, issued by the SAME Government Hospital OR the Div. Railway Manager from the Railways of your Region.

3. Check the very useful information given in the article above, where you can also download the Railway Concession Form. It also mentions the documents that are required.

4. Presently the Railways are accepting the old Certificates, but this may not be for long.

5. Though the Article above says, that online ticketing is possible for handicapped category, I am not sure they will give you choice of lower berth. Once, I did physical booking, and I was given higher berth and was told to request other passengers. I cancelled the booking.

6. So, be aware of all these problems. Best is to make physical booking.

The bench mark disability for availing benefit is 40%.

But as per railway norms/circulars they could not mentioned regarding UDID card valid instead of concession certificate for railway photo id

Hi Concern, My name is Vikas. I got my photo identity card issued by railways in the month of Dec 2015 but it was valid upto 1 year only hence it got expire on Dec 2016, dont know why they issued it for 1 year. Meanwhile i tried to do reservation through it in online mode, i always got a error like card is not valid or yet to update, please contact to nearest DRM office. Now my question is do you guys have any idea about it. Should i have to initiate it as a fresh start or my already generated Card can help me out into this. Please suggest.

Card is issued for 5 years first time, if age of the candidate is less than 35 years. If Card is issued for one year, it means it was issued for temporary disability. If you want to get issued new ID Card, there is need to get issued disability card first then get new ID Card.

I have received the receipt from railways office (delhi) and i was told that information will be shared online in 6 months time. Its been an year but we haven’t any information nor can we find out any website where information about collection of such certificate is mentioned. First, you need to get disability certificate and railway concession certificate both from govt hospital. Then you follow above steps to get railway concession photo id card.

Regarding railway ID card, I think when the Govt of India has issuing UDID card for handicapped, then it shall be a single document sufficient for issuing Railway ID card. Thank you very much for giving information through this article. Had I read this earlier, I would have applied for renewal of my concession certificate two months in advance. I would like to say to all the differently-abled that if your certificate is about to expire, then apply for it to be renewed at least two months in advance because this process of railways takes one and a half to two months.

Now a days government is issuing UDID card for handicap people. That card can be downloaded online and can be verified online. That card is sufficient for all the practical purposes. No need of further certificate from a doctor again. Indian railways need to wake up and put an end to all these ridiculous procedures

Generally will take 2 months at max 2) Register as new user in https://divyangjanid.indianrail.gov.in/ . Download the Concession Certificate form. 3) Get the Concession certificate attested by the Local Government Doctor. 4) Upload all the soft copies in the website. 5) As per my Discussion in D.R.M office, it will take 1 month for Verification and Issue of Railway ID Card.

Application Format for Name Change in Railway Ticket

If your name is wrongly printed on your railway ticket then you can correct it 24 hours before departure of your train. For correction of your name on the railway ticket, you need to submit a written request to the railway reservation office. Along with the name change request letter you need to submit your ticket copy, ID proof, and passport size photo.

Take a A4 size white paper, and write the address of the concerned IRCTC office and put the subject line related to your problem. Now elaborate the actual problem in the body of the letter and mention all the required details like your name, PNR number, station details, and any other required information.

2. Can I edit my train ticket ?

No, you should not edit your train ticket. As per IRCTC rules you should not modify your name, date, time, station details or any other information on your railway ticket. In case of any problem you have to cancel the ticket and rebook the new ticket.

Railways will issue photo identity cards to physically-challenged persons to enable them to avail concessions in train tickets in a hassle-free manner.

The card with a unique ID number will have to be carried during journey and produced for onboard verification, said a senior Railway Ministry official.

Till now, a physically challenged person used to fill the concession form and produce all relevant documents at the ticket reservation counter to avail the concession in train tickets.

There were complaints from differently-abled persons as well as from social activists who were demanding a hassle-free system.

As per the new system, phyisically-challenged persons will have to approach the nearest Divisional Railway Manager office along with all the relevant documents in original claiming concession and passport size photograph for issuing photo identity card.

The differently-abled is also required to provide a mobile number for communication while applying for the card, the official said.

After due verification by the concerned zonal railways, a photo identity card will be printed containing a unique ID. An automated SMS will be sent to the passenger on given mobile number to collect the card showing the original concession certificate.

“After getting the card, the person is not required to fill any concessional form to avail the facility at the counter. Even tickets can be booked on the Internet using the ID number written on the card,” he said.

The validity of the card will be for five years or the last date up to which concession certificate is valid.

Railways also extend the e-ticketing facility to the disabled

Indian Railways has extended the e-ticketing facility to the physically challenged persons. Such persons, who belong to the respective Railway Divisional jurisdiction and desirous of availing e-ticketing facility, have to submit their original medical certificate along with two copies of recent passport size photographs, photo identity proof and proof of date of birth at the Commercial Branch of respective Divisional Railway Manager’s Office.

After due verification of the certificates/documents, they will be issued photo identity card by the Commercial Branch of the respective Railway Division which facilitates e-ticketing for booking of rail tickets. An exclusive facilitation counter at all the DRM’s offices across all the Railway Zones has been opened up by Indian Railways and it functions on working days from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Indian Railways for the disabled

It was going to be a train trip for me soon after a long time. I was traveling to Puttaparthi by Karnataka Express for darashan of Sri Satya Sai Baba along with my father who is a staunch devotee.  For a number of people train travels were something to look forward to and enjoyable. In fact they were enjoyable for me to till I became severely disabled having to use a wheelchair. Since I became disabled I tried to avoid train travels as much as possible but considering that it was the most affordable means of travel I was forced to use it on occasions.

My father made the bookings well in advance. The railways gave a considerably large concession on the ticket for the disabled traveller and one escort traveling with them making the travel very cheap. We had heard about a ‘Handicapped Coach’ that the railways had introduced in every train. But it was an unreserved coach so a disabled passenger could not reserve it and as a matter of safety and convenience a disabled person would rarely travels unreserved, therefore this coach was useless for us as it still remains to be for most disabled travellers.

I was happy for not having access to this ‘Handicapped Coach’ that the Railways had so generously provided. Firstly the coach was a second-class coach and considering in the scorching heat in May we were going to travel air-conditioned. Secondly the design of the coach was not exceptionally accessible – boarding the train was still going to be difficult and using the toilet was still going to be impossible. The most important reason why I was happy not using this ‘special’ facility was because I did not want to be singled out along with my family and placed separately. I found the entire concept discriminatory. In my mind it was like the British Raj where Indians were not allowed in the same compartment as the British, here the disabled travellers being same as the Indians.

One of the main preparations for me before a train travel apart from packing was organise my bladder and bowel as the toilets in the train are inaccessible to a disabled person like me. Just because the Railways have designed their coaches to be so inaccessible to the disabled most people with disabilities are faced with this challenge. Considering it was a two-day journey, I needed to stop my intake of food and liquids nearly two days before commencing the journey. It is not easy to do so because as dehydration sets in one begins to feel weak. Needless to say I needed to keep the intake to bare minimum throughout the journey.

This I must point out is just the beginning of the difficulties to travel be train. The Railways is proud of making its large stations accessible to disabled people, but here again there is much to be done. During a visit to the New and Old Delhi railway stations recently, I was amazed at the bizarre on ground implementation of these access features. The low drinking water sink was blocked and overflowing with water. The accessible restroom was located in the ladies waiting room making me wonder where a disabled man was supposed to go.  As for the condition of the special waiting room the lesser said the better.

In this entire thread of thought while making stations more disabled friendly there is no concern for the safety of disabled passengers. The basic issue of inter-platform transfer seems to have been entirely ignored. For instance, whenever I’ve travelled by train, I have always been taken as luggage over the railway tracks by a coolie, putting me as a passenger at a higher risk of accidents than anybody else. What disheartens me most is when I often read in news papers that the Railways in its understanding is sanctioning money to install escalators in various stations for the benefit of disabled people while it’s a internationally recognised norm that people using wheelchairs are not allowed to use escalators. A rule followed by the Delhi Metro and the Airports in India but happily ignored by the Railways. This again is an indication towards poor safety concern for the disabled.

The anxiety of travel does not subside even after reaching the platform well in time to board the train. The coolies that was hired to bring me over the tracks till the platform was engaged on the condition that he was going to board me in the train and leave me on my berth. Of course the cost of this is high therefore as a disabled traveller while the railways was generous in its concessions but because of inaccessibility the added cost to hire two coolies to board and de-board me compensates for the concession availed.

Once the train arrived and the initial frenzy subsided two coolies lift me like a sack of potatoes (one grabbing me from under my shoulders and the other from under my knees) and carry me in. There is no point in my feeling awkward or angry at the way I am physically handled as there are no other options in any case.  Train is about 50 cm higher from the platform and carrying me up is difficult, but the real challenge is taking me in through the extra narrow and extra heavy door of the air-conditioned compartment. There is a jam caused my getting in blocking the way for the rest.  In between all the confusion that is created the coolies struggle to squeeze in in through the door. There are always a few scratches or red finger marks of the coolies hand that remain as a memory of this experience. I take a deep breath of relief as I settle on my berth finally. One third of the journey is completed for me at that moment.

As the train rolls forward I stay happily perched on my berth enjoying the scenery outside as feeling bad about the way I am treated as a disabled person is of no use as in so many years of being disabled I have reconciled to this differential treatment, it is not something specific only to the railways in any case. My berth was my spot for the next two days as I am going to be able to get down for some fresh air at any of the stations neither was I going to be able to access the sink or the toilet. With a restricted intake there was nothing more that I could do to avert something as natural as natures call. All I hoped for now was for an eventless journey.

As the train jolted to a halt at the Puttaparti Station where the stop was just for a couple of minutes, my father was already at the compartment door trying to hail to coolies to help us out. He had already spoken to the ticket conductor explaining him our problem in de-boarding the train and requesting him to ensure that the train didn’t move ahead without letting us off. The TC assured him and told him not to worry and get of comfortably. In spite of hurrying frantically to expedite our de-boarding, the train jolted ahead with me in the hands of two coolies with one of them on the platform and the other still in the train. I thought this was the end of me but my father ran forward and grab me and put me on the platform. From the moving train the coolies unloaded my wheelchair and other luggage, it was clear that the TC had not bothered to ensure my safety as he had promised to.

This was a journey that is etched in my mind forever. Today as I have become older and broader physically I know that there is no way I can make a train journey ever again. The only mode of travel available to me is to travel by air. Since it is not something that is very affordable to me I am very restricted in my travel not able to take as may holidays I would like to.  I am discriminated and excluded because of only one reason and that reason is ‘inaccessibility’. As a disabled person only the more expensive services are accessible to me such as air travel instead of rail travel, using taxis instead of public transport, five star hotels instead of cheaper guest houses. It is as though I am being charged a tax for being disabled!

The concession provided by the railways is useless unless they provide accessibility and providing accessibility is not rocket science, it only required that the railways consider inclusion, safety and comfort of disabled travellers as one of their main objectives and then work towards it in a phased and an inclusive manner. It is not charity that a disabled person needs in the form of concessions rather we want inclusion and the right to use the service with the same dignity and convenience as anybody else.

For printing the letter directly from the browser:

• Print Letter: Click the "Print Letter" button after composing your letter.
• Print Preview: A new browser window will open showing your letter formatted for printing.
• Print: Use the print dialog in the browser to complete printing.
• Include details such as the number of tickets booked, the PNR number, the original journey details, the reason for cancellation, and the desired refund amount.
• Yes, it's advisable to enclose documents such as a copy of the train ticket, duly filled refund form, railway ticket cancellation form, and ID/Address proof.
